Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Countinghouse Press announces its 10th season of Bootstraps College Self-Publishing Seminars for writers and aspiring authors.

Countinghouse Press is pleased to announce that authors Pauline Flynn, who has written Charlie’s Gift,  a Story of Love and Loss, Doubt and Faith, will visit Metropolitan Detroit in Spring 2011 to do a number of signings and readings.

Returning to the Detroit area after a successful first year with his book, Henderson’s Light, Drinking, Driving, and a Deadly Encounter, is journalist Jack Torry, Supreme Court and Congressional Correspondent for the Columbus, Ohio Dispatch.

 A two part Publish Your Book Yourself Course - HFCC will be held October 5th and 12th, 2010 at the Henry Ford Community College Center for Lifelong Learning, Dearborn Heights Center Ann Arbor Trail at West Warren, in Dearborn Heights, MI.

A two part Self-Publishing Course will be held on October 7th and 14th at the Holmes Middle School, Berg Road (between 5 and 6 mile), Livonia, MI.

Also offered in September, 2010 is the Easy Cooking for 1 or 2 Course at the Henry Ford Community College Center for Lifelong Learning, Dearborn Heights Center Ann Arbor Trail at West Warren, in Dearborn Heights, MI. Dates are September 21 and 28, 2010.

Bootstraps College Self-Publishing Seminars are designed for authors who want to learn how to publish their own works. There is information on writing, editing, design, pricing, reviews, distribution, publicity, marketing, and how to locate book manufacturers. Presenter is Leonard F. Charla, author and President of Countinghouse Press, Inc. Charla has written a cookbook,
Never Cooked Before/Gotta Cook Now!  and has written sections of a legal practice manual and a small business book, along with a number of articles for magazines and legal journals. He is at work on a forthcoming novel. His company, Countinghouse Press, has published seven titles and has several other works in preparation for publication.

Michigan authors who have taken the course and gone on to become published include speaker and consultant Marilyn Suttle, attorney Pamela Osborne, web network entrepreneur Phil Rosette, teacher Richard Marquis, and professional speaker John Tenza, who notes "The materials are awesome."
